How to Watch UNCG Men’s Basketball’s Match with Crosstown Rival NC A&T
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's basketball team and crosstown rival North Carolina A&T will face off on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Corbett Sports Center.
This will be the 25th meeting between the two teams, where the overall series is tied 12-12.
This game will be broadcast on FloCollege as well as aired on Sinclair Broadcasting's WMYV My48, cable channel 15, HD 1215 and online. Sinclair's reach expands as far north as Patrick County (Va.) and south to Montgomery County (N.C.). It also extends as far west as Wilkes County (N.C.) and east to Alamance County (N.C.).

LAST TIME OUT FOR THE SPARTANS
- UNCG fought past Triad foe High Point, 72-68, in Fleming Gym on Tuesday.
- It marked the Spartan's first win over the Panthers since Nov. 8, 2013, 82-74.
- Kenyon Giles scored a game- and career-high 25 points and shot a career-best 11-for-21 from the field.
- Jalen Breath registered a season-high 16 points and 10 rebounds for his fourth-career double-double, while Joryam Saizonou chipped in a career-high 15 points.
- UNCG outrebounded High Point, 36-27.
- The Spartans shot 50-percent from field goal range, while the Panthers shot 44.1-percent from the field.
SCOUTING THE SPARTANS
- UNCG concluded last season 21-11 overall and 12-6 in The Southern Conference (SoCon).
- This was the seventh year out of eight with 20 or more wins for the Spartans.
- This was the second out of three years under Head Coach Mike Jones that the Spartans won 20 or more games.
- The Spartans were voted to finish sixth in the 2024-25 SoCon Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- Donovan Atwell was voted to the 2024-25 Preseason All-SoCon team.
- The Spartans return nine from last year's roster, while adding seven newcomers.
- UNCG has 13 regular season non-conference games this season: five home, five away and three neutral.

- The Spartans opened the 2024-25 season with their first of two SoCon/ASUN battles including Florida Gulf Coast, taking the win 73-64.
- There will be six games in Fleming Gymnasium and eight in the First Horizon Coliseum this season.
- UNCG begins its SoCon slate with a game on New Year's Day, traveling to Spartanburg, South Carolina, to face off against Wofford and the Spartans conclude regular season conference play on March 1 against Samford in Greensboro.
- UNCG travels to Wofford on Jan. 1 and Chattanooga on Jan. 9 and will play on the CBS Sports Network.
- The Spartans' game at ETSU on Feb. 19 will be on ESPNU, while the team will host Samford on March 1 on ESPN2 or ESPNU.
- Giles joins the Spartans after two years at Radford, where he was first on the team with 1.4 steals per game and second on the team with 14.3 points per game.
- Ronald Polite III and Malik Henry both come to UNCG with four years previously at George Mason. Polite III has averaged 7.38 points per game and 2.5 assists per game. Henry contributed a 62.5-percentage in field goals during his time with the Patriots.
- Demetrius Davis joins the Spartans after playing the last two seasons at Chattanooga and one year each at Lawson State Community College and Augusta.
- Three Spartans are averaging double figures, including Giles (16.0), Polite III (12.0) and Atwell (11.3).
- Breath and Miles Jones are pacing the team with 7.5 and 5.8 rebounds per game, respectively.
- The Spartans are nationally ranked 34th in field goal percentage defense (38.3), 49th in scoring defense (64.6), 70th in least number of turnovers per game (10.8) and 71st in rebounds per game (39.38).
- The Spartans are leading the conference in field goal percentage defense and least number of turnovers per game.
- UNCG is second in the SoCon in scoring defense.
- Giles is nationally 87th in three-point percentage (41.5) and 98th in three-pointers per game (2.75), which are third and fourth in the SoCon, respectively.
- Atwell is third in the SoCon with 61 three-point attempts.
- UNCG has the advantage against its foes in points per game, 70.4-64.6, three-pointers per game, 8.5-6.1, rebounds per game, 39.4-35.8, assists per game, 14.3-11.5, and steals per game, 5.8-5.5.

- A&T concluded the 2023-24 season 7-25 overall and 5-13 in its third year with the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA).
- The Aggies were voted to finish 10th in the 2024-25 CAA Men's Basketball Preseason Poll.
- Landon Glasper was a unanimous selection to the 204-25 All-CAA Preseason First team.
- A&T has lost its last three games, including a 82-71 loss to Hampton University, its first conference game.
- The Aggies are 2-0 at the Corbett Sports Center this season with victories over Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, 107-55, and Morgan State University, 86-83.
- Ryan Forrest is pacing the team with 20.1 points per game.
- Glasper and Jahnathan Lamothe are also averaging double figures with 17.6 and 12.3 points per game, respectively. Glasper is leading the team with 2.0 steals per game.
- Nikolaos Chitikoudis is pacing A&T with 7.8 rebounds per game, while Camian Shell is averaging 4.3 assists per game.
- Chitikoudis is 26th nationally and third in the CAA in blocks per game (2.00) as well as 31st in the nation and third in the conference in total blocks (16).
- Nationally, Glasper is ninth in three-point attempts (79), 14th in field goal attempts (145), 22nd in three-pointers per game (3.38) and 34th in total three-point field goals made (27).
- Among the nation, A&T is 45th in three-point percentage defense (28.3), 78th in defensive rebounds per game (27.50), 83rd in fastbreak points (13.63) and 96th in scoring offense (80.0).
- The Aggies are second in the CAA in three-point attempts per game (28.3) and three-point percentage defense.
