2024-25 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Season Ticket Renewals – Now Open
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Season tickets for the upcoming 2024-25 UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's and women's basketball seasons are available now for renewals.
Men's basketball concluded the season 21-11 overall and 12-6 in The Southern Conference (SoCon). This was the seventh year out of eight with 20 or more wins for the Spartans. This was the second out of three years under Head Coach Mike Jones that the Spartans won 20 or more games. The Spartans won the 2023 Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship in November. The 2023-24 squad made history as a team defeating then-ranked No. 14 Arkansas, 78-72, in Fayetteville for the programs first ranked win.
Women's basketball wrapped up the 2023-24 season with a 21-12 record overall and was 8-6 in SoCon play. This was the first 20-plus win season for the Spartans since the 2019-20 season and third under the direction of Head Coach Trina Patterson. UNCG's 15-1 home record was the best since the 2001-02 season, when the team went 12-1. The Spartans defied the odds and earned the No. 2 seed into the SoCon Tournament and fell to top-seeded Chattanooga in the championship game. The Blue & Gold earned its second WNIT Tournament bid in program history.
