Healthy behaviors are actions individuals take that affect their health. In this group we will learn about ways to make better choices and modify behaviors that negatively impact our health and well-being. This can include eating well, being physically active, setting appropriate boundaries, and assertive communications.

Survivor Space is a peer-based support group for survivors of all forms of interpersonal violence. If you have experienced harm by another person in the past, or you are currently experiencing harm by someone you know, this group is designed for you. Survivor Space uses empowered-choice making and community-based support as tools in a survivor’s healing journey. Topics covered in the group can include resiliency building, boundary setting, healthy relationships, conflict management, and increasing self-esteem. The topics are driven by participants- we define what healing looks like for us. Drop-ins to this group are welcome. If you have additional questions about Survivor Space, would like to make an accommodations request for this group, or would like to speak with an advocate, please call 336-334-9839 to schedule an intake appointment.
