Baseball Falls in Quarterfinals to No. 2 Western Carolina
GREENVILLE, S.C. – The No. 7 seed UNC Greensboro (UNCG) baseball team fell to No. 2 seed Western Carolina, 4-3, on Thursday night at Fluor Field in The Southern Conference (SoCon) Baseball Tournament. Hunter Shuey pitched a complete game with only three hits allowed in the contest.
Baseball Bests No. 6 ETSU; Falls to No. 3 Samford
GREENVILLE, S.C. – The No. 7 seed UNC Greensboro (UNCG) baseball team took down No. 6 seed ETSU Buccaneers, 6-5, then lost to No. 3 Samford, 13-1, on Wedneday at Fluor Field in The Southern Conference (SoCon) Baseball Tournament. The play-in win against ETSU was the first win in the SoCon Tournament since 2023 against No. 2 Mercer, 9-5.
Hernandez Records Strong Finish at NCAA Winston-Salem Regional
BERMUDA RUN, N.C. – Kelvin Hernandez of the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team finished tied for 25th place at the NCAA Winston-Salem Regional after the final round on Wednesday at Bermuda Run Country Club.
