LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's tennis team fell in its 2025 season opener on Saturday, 7-0, to Louisville at Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.

"I'm very proud of the effort on the road verses an ACC Opponent," said Head Coach Mat Iandolo. "Olivia did a great job of pushing her match to the limit. We will not face a better team all year."

The Cardinals were able to tally the first point of the day after clinching all three doubles matches for the 1-0 advantage.

The closest doubles contest of the day came when Allie Gretkowski and Lika Peresypkina defeated Alexandra Dodashev and Olivia Gallagher, 6-3, on court one.

Louisville was able to claim all six singles matches for the 7-0 win, but not without a fight.

Gretkowski earned the first point of singles play with a 6-1, 6-1, win over Lauren Thomson on court four.

On court five, Germany Davis granted the Cardinals their third point of the contest in a 6-2, 6-2, victory over Sydney Bly.
