GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team and Head Coach Terrance Stewart has added two transfer students in Dax and Cole Isbell to the 2025-26 roster.
 
"We are thrilled to have Cole and Dax join the Spartans," said Stewart. "Dax has been a proven leader on and off the course. Cole had an excellent first semester and was exceptional this fall, he has a bright future. Cole and Dax will certainly help the program compete for championships."

• Four-year letterwinner in high school
• Won the Georgia PGA Junior Championship in 2021
• Notched a 74.9 scoring average over 24 rounds of stroke play in his freshman season with the Skyhawks
• Led the team in scoring in back-to-back tournaments with a one-over-par (217) in the 2022-23 season
• Finished his sophomore season sixth in the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) in scoring (72.2)
• Named OVC Golfer of the Week on three separate occasions in the 2023-24 season
• Athletic Director's Honor Roll twice
• OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll twice

Cole Isbell
Current Freshman/Incoming Sophomore | UT Martin
North Forsyth High School | Cumming, Georgia

• Played in the 2023 and 2024 USGA Junior Championships
• Earned third place in the 2024 Georgia Junior
• Finished eighth in the 2023 Georgia Junior
• Finished the fall with a 72.5 scoring average
• Competed in all five tournaments in the 2024 fall season
• Named OVC Golfer of the Week once during the fall of 2024

UNCG returns to action in 2025 by hosting the Palmas Del Mar Collegiate from Feb. 9-11 in Humacao, Puerto Rico, at Palmas Del Mar Flamboyan.
