However, the walk is just the start. Susan G Komen counts on the contribution of funds that can be dedicated to breast cancer research. Our goal is to raise $2500.Registration is easy and allows you to participate in the walk as well as send emails, text messages, and social media post to assist in gathering funds. This year alone, more than 300,000 people living in the U.S. are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer. And while great strides have been made in prevention and treatment, there is still so much work to be done to find the cures to end this terrible disease.Every donation gets us one step closer to finding the cures to end breast cancer.
