Men’s Golf Heads Back to Puerto Rico to Host Dorado Beach Collegiate
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team heads back to Puerto Rico this week to host the Dorado Beach Collegiate from Sunday to Tuesday in Dorado, Puerto Rico, at TPC Dorado Beach.

THE FORMAT
The tournament will be three rounds, 18 holes each day. Sunday and Monday will be a 7:30 a.m. EST/8:30 a.m. AST shotgun start. Tuesday is a 7:00 a.m. EST/8:00 a.m. AST shotgun start.

- The Spartans finished the Palmas Del Mar Collegiate by placing sixth after concluding the third round on Tuesday, Feb. 11 in Humacao, Puerto Rico, at Palmas Del Mar Flamboyan.
- UNCG carded a one-under-par (863) with rounds of 287-284-292. The Spartans finished in a five-way tie for most eagles with three.
- Jack Marcotte finished on top for the Spartans to earn a tie for 11th place with a three-under-par (213). Marcotte recorded rounds of 71-69-73 over the three-day tournament.
- Marcotte finished in a three-way tie for second place with a 2.92 average on par three's.
LAST TIME HOSTING THE DORADO BEACH COLLEGIATE
- The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team claimed first place at last year's Dorado Beach Collegiate after carding a 37-under-par (539).
- The third round of last season's tournament was canceled due to weather.
- The Spartans recorded an 18-under-par (269) in the first round and a 19-under-par (269) in the second round of the tournament.
- UNCG paced all 17 teams with six total eagles and a 4.13 par five average over the two-round tournament.
- All individual Spartans earned a combined under-par score in the two rounds.
