Men’s Golf in First After Round One of Bryan National Collegiate

TEAM
- UNCG is leading all 10 teams with a nine-under-par (279) in the first round.
- High Point is currently trailing UNCG with eight strokes more than the Spartans for a one-under-par (287).
- Boston College sits in third place with an even par (288).
- All other teams are over-par in the leaderboard.
INDIVIDUAL
- B.J. Boyce and Kelvin Hernandez are leading the field at first and second place, respectfully.
- Boyce matched his career low with a six-under-par (66) in the first round on Sunday.
- Hernandez notched a four-under-par (68) in the opening round of the three-day tournament.
- Boyce carded a total of six birdies, while Hernandez recorded five on the day.
- Liam Percy comes in a tie for fifth place after the freshman recorded a two-under-par (70) in round one.
- Andrew Graham and Jack Marcotte both are in a tie for seventh place after notching a one-under-par (71) in the opening round.
- Keenan Royalty and Colin Dutton are in a tie for 21st place with a one-over-par (73).
- Will Guidry follows closely behind Royalty and Dutton in a tie for 28th place with a two-over-par (74).
- Jake Lewis rounds out the scorecard for the Spartans with a three-over-par (75) to stand in a tie for 33rd place.
- Percy, Guidry and Lewis all made their collegiate debut on Sunday, while Dutton made his first appearance as a Spartan.
