Men's Soccer Gears Up for Liberty and Davidson
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The No. 21 ranked UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer team will travel to take on undefeated Liberty Friday at 7:00 p.m. at Osborne Stadium. Then the Spartans will turn around to play Davidson College on Tuesday 7:00 p.m. at UNCG Soccer Stadium.

The Spartans hold a 15-9-4 record over the Wildcats, with the last matchup taking place Sept. 6, 2024, in a 2-2 draw. The last time UNCG beat Davidson was in 2013, where the Spartans won 2-0 in Greensboro.

Sami Lachekar was named SoCon Defensive Player of the Week for week two after clocking in 180 minutes of action with one goal in two games played.

Steven Hernandez was named SoCon Offensive Player of the Week for week three after two goals and the game-winning goal as time expired in the 4-3 win over Dayton, Sept. 6.
