Women's Basketball to Face NC A&T in Round One of WNIT
GREENSBORO, N.C. - The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's basketball team is set to enter the 2024 Postseason WNIT as an automatic qualifier. The Spartans will play their first-round game on the road at North Carolina A&T on Friday, March 22 at 7 p.m. in Corbett Sports Center in Greensboro, N.C.

- Khalfani was the only Spartan to be named the SoCon Player of the Week this season. Her weekly mention came after earning back-to-back double-doubles in the team's win over Samford and Mercer.
- Khalfani and Gamble both earned a spot on the SoCon postseason awards list. Khalfani was tabbed the SoCon Defensive Player of the Year, Second Team All-Conference, and All-Defensive Team, while Gamble earned a spot on the First Team All-Conference list.
- The Spartans were picked to finish sixth in the 2023-24 SoCon Preseason Media Poll and the Preseason Coaches' Poll but finished the season as the No. 2 seed.

- The Aggies will welcome the Spartans on Friday with a 20-11 record on the season.
- N.C. A&T made it to the semifinal round of the 2024 Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Women's Basketball Tournament, falling to Stony Brook, 59-51.

LAST TIME AT THE WNIT FOR THE SPARTANS
- This season's WNIT selection is the second time UNCG women's basketball has competed in the postseason tournament in program history.
- The Spartans last earned a spot in the WNIT back in the 2001-02 season when UNCG fell in a close battle with Virginia, 51-45.
