Sophomore Kasey McIlvaine is tied for fourth on the player leaderboard at two-under-par (142) after shooting three-under-par (69) on Monday.
TEAM
- The Spartans are now tied for sixth with Elon at 15-over-par (591) after posting a 296 on the second day of the tournament
- Virginia Tech maintained its tight grip on the top spot, leading by 26 strokes now at 17-under-par (559).
- The only other Southern Conference (SoCon) foe in the field, East Tennessee State (ETSU), fell from second to fourth on Monday. ETSU is now 13-over-par (589) with rounds of 291-298.
- UNCG is tied for the second-most birdies with 23, 16 shy of Virginia Tech's 39 through two rounds.
INDIVIDUAL
- McIlvaine moved up 12 spots and is pacing the Spartans at two-under-par (142) with rounds of 73-69. She recorded the team's only eagle so far at the event on Monday and also leads the team with 27 pars.
- Senior Grace Holcomb is second on the Spartans and tied for 33rd at six-over-par (150) after shooting back-to-back 75-stroke rounds.
- Sophomore Elle Burnette and Freshman Lulu Leetham are third on the team and 38th on the player leaderboard at seven-over-par (151).
- Competing as an individual, junior Julia Baeumken is tied for 29th at five-over-par (149) after shooting a 76 on Sunday and 73 on Monday.
- Freshman Sophie Lauture is tied for 57th at five-over-par (77). She leads the Spartans with six birdies.
