Women's Soccer Releases 2025 Schedule
GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's soccer Head Coach Stefani Workman has announced the team's 2025 schedule.
The 2025 season is highlighted with three opponents who earned a spot into the 2024 NCAA Tournament with Colorado, North Carolina and The Southern Conference (SoCon) foe Samford. North Carolina won the 2024 National Championship.
The Spartans concluded the 2024 season 5-9-5 overall and 3-3-3 in league play. UNCG defeated The Citadel, 3-0, in the first round of the 2024 SoCon Tournament but fell to second-seeded Samford, 2-1, in the SoCon Quarterfinal round to conclude the season.
"Our non-conference schedule is a challenging one, featuring match ups against Colorado, North Carolina, South Florida and Liberty," stated Coach Workman. "We believe that competing against high-level opponents will prepare us for tough SoCon play. Our girls had a strong spring and continue to work hard this summer as we get ready for the fall season. Facing this level of competition will prepare our team to rise to the challenge when it matters most."
