UNCG’s crowdfunding platform, Spartans Give, returns for another year of “social fundraising” in the 2025-26 academic year.

Faculty, staff, and student groups are encouraged to sign up for an interest meeting with the Advancement Communications team, who will facilitate the application process before submitted projects are vetted by the Spartans Give Campus Council.

This group, composed of faculty and staff from across campus to ensure a transparent process, reviews applications to determine their viability and feasibility.

The first Spartans Give interest meeting will occur on Tuesday, July 22, at 10:00 a.m.

Here are just a few of the 2024-25 Spartans Give campaigns that saw successful fundraising outcomes:

• Students Delving into the Past for a Brighter Future (Ancient Mediterranean Studies): $15,391 raised from 74 donors
• EdD in Kinesiology New Student Orientation Support (Ongoing): $3,280 raised from 43 donors
• First Generation Commencement Stole Project: $7,405 raised from 100 donors
