Staff Senate is thrilled to introduce our Staff Senate co-chairs for the 2024-2025 academic year, Kimberly Mozingo and Carla Wilson. As we prepare for the fall semester, they are ready to serve as a vital resource for the staff community and a bridge to campus administration.

Kimberly Mozingo brings her passion for health and well-being to the forefront. She aims to promote staff wellness through workshops, resources, and initiatives. “Our staff’s health is crucial,” says Mozingo. “We want to create a supportive environment where everyone can thrive.”

Carla Wilson, with her experience in professional development, is committed to upskilling and reskilling UNCG’s staff. “In today’s rapidly changing landscape, continuous learning is essential,” says Wilson. She plans to collaborate with departments and internal partners to offer relevant opportunities to build on your knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Mozingo and Wilson emphasize collaboration. They view their roles as facilitators, ensuring that staff voices are heard. “We’re here to listen,” says Wilson. “Staff Senate meetings are open to all, and we encourage active participation.”

Our incoming co-chairs would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Ian Draves and Ryan Milligan for their exceptional leadership and dedication over the past year.
