Men’s Soccer Takes Draw Against No. 3 NC State On the Road
RALEIGH, N.C. – The No. 18 UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer team took a 1-1 draw against No. 3 North Carolina State (NC State) at Dail Soccer Stadium in Raleigh, North Carolina on Tuesday.
Women’s Golf Wins UNCG Collegiate
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's golf team concluded the UNCG Collegiate on Tuesday, winning the tournament with round scores of 298-293-294 (885). This is the Spartans' first win since the Puerto Rico Shootout on March 4, 2025.
Fritz Earns SoCon Defensive Player of the Week
SPARTANBURG, S.C.- Senior defender Kimito Fritz of the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer team has been named The Southern Conference (SoCon) Denfensive Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday. This is the Spartans third defensive player of the week of winner and sixth total this season. He scored one goal while playing two complete games against No. 8 ranked Virginia and Wofford in the eighth week of the 2025 season.
Men’s Basketball to Face Furman on ESPN2
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's basketball team will be featured in one of nine The Southern Conference (SoCon) games to be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network, ESPN2 or ESPNU this season. The 10th game is set for a wildcard matchup on Saturday, Feb. 14, that ESPN will choose and be announced by the SoCon Office on Jan. 30.
Women’s Golf in Second Place at the UNCG Collegiate
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's golf team wrapped up day one of its home event, the UNCG Collegiate, on Monday, sitting in second place through the first two rounds at Forest Oaks Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina.
