Men’s Basketball Announces 2024-25 Schedule

GREENSBORO, N.C. –  The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's basketball team and fourth-year Head Coach Mike Jones completes the 2024-25 schedule with the non-conference slate.

GREENSBORO, N.C. –  The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's basketball team and fourth-year Head Coach Mike Jones completes the 2024-25 schedule with the non-conference slate.

This year's non-conference schedule includes 13 games, including three contests at the Ball Dawgs Classic in Henderson, Nevada from Nov. 25-27. The Spartans kick off the trip with Long Beach State, before facing San Jose State and UTEP. The Southern Conference (SoCon) and Athletic Sun Conference (ASUN) announced a two-year scheduling alliance for men's basketball and the Spartans will host Florida Gulf Coast on Nov. 4 and then travel to North Florida on Dec. 14.

"Our non-conference schedule will be a fun and challenging opportunity for our program," stated Coach Jones. "The tough part about this schedule is the number of high quality mid-major and high major teams. We love playing the local teams like NC A&T, Elon and High Point because they generate a lot of interest with fans in the Triad. SMU, in its first year in the ACC, is a good opportunity to see how we stack up against one of the country's best conferences. Our game at Indiana in the iconic Assembly Hall versus one of the most decorated college basketball programs of all time should be a fun opportunity for our fans to experience with us. We are looking forward to participating in the SoCon/ASUN challenge in its first year with two quality opponents from Florida, and the Ball Dawgs Classic in Las Vegas during the week of Thanksgiving. All these games give our fan base the chance to see college basketball at its finest."
