Come with us to one of North Carolina’s most popular bouldering sites! While many outdoor enthusiasts love top rope and sport climbing, bouldering is the most simple and free form of climbing. All you need are shoes and some good friends to support you. We’ll bring the crash pads, and lunch, you bring the energy and we’re sure to have a perfect Sunday at the crag. Catalyst is a program where participants engage in meaningful service and be a spark for change! You and your fellow students will have the opportunity to learn about the social and environmental issues that have an impact on our community, serve alongside community partners in the triad, and reflect on your experiences as a group.
Catalyst Days are open to all UNCG students. Registration will begin on Monday, April 6th, at 10:00 AM through the RSVP button. We have space for 13 participants, and registration is open until spots are filled. Once you complete the registration, your Catalyst Leaders will be in contact with information about next steps. The Annual ALPFA UNCG Ball is our signature end-of-year celebration—a night dedicated to honoring excellence, community, and the incredible growth of our chapter. This formal evening brings together students, alumni, professionals, and supporters to reflect on the year’s achievements and look ahead to the future of ALPFA at UNCG.
Throughout the night, we will recognize outstanding members and leaders through a series of chapter awards, celebrating dedication, service, academic excellence, and the spirit of ALPFA. We will also honor our graduating seniors with a heartfelt Senior Send-Off, acknowledging their contributions and wishing them success as they begin the next chapter of their journeys.
A highlight of the evening will be the introduction of the newly elected Executive Board, who will share their vision for the upcoming year and continue the legacy of leadership within our organization. The program will also include a Year-in-Review, spotlighting our chapter’s accomplishments—from professional development events and community service initiatives to networking opportunities and member milestones.

It will be an unforgettable night of celebration, recognition, and community as we close out the year in true ALPFA fashion.
