Courageous Dialogue  Build the confidence and skills to navigate conversations that matter.  College brings countless moments where meaningful, sometimes uncomfortable conversations are necessary in group projects, student organizations, friendships, and future professional roles. Courageous Dialogue is a two-hour, in-person workshop designed to help UNCG students communicate with clarity, confidence, and respect, even in challenging situations.  This workshop will be offered twice, and students may attend either session:  February 19, 2026 | 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM | EUC Alexander  March 18, 2026 | 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM | EUC Alexander  Why it matters for students  Strong communication is one of the most valuable skills you can develop in college and beyond. Catalyst is a program where participants engage in meaningful service and be a spark for change! You and your fellow students will have the opportunity to learn about the social and environmental issues that have an impact on our community, serve alongside community partners in the triad, and reflect on your experiences as a group. Catalyst Days are open to all UNCG students. We have space for 13 participants, and registration is open until spots are filled. This signature all-majors recruiting event is designed to connect UNCG students and alumni with world class employers offering full-time, internship and graduate opportunities. This event is an opportunity to explore career options with a diverse set of employers and/or network with companies at which you are interested in interning or working for full-time. In addition, a number of graduate schools will be in attendance to talk to students about their programs. No matter your reason for attending, professional attire is encouraged. Please come prepared with multiple copies of your resume to provide to employers. First impressions are important, and you never know what connections you will make!
