Storm the Streets is an annual one-mile spirit march from the UNCG Baseball Stadium to the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, to celebrate the men’s basketball home opener.

When she was in high school, Destiny Turner had already set goals for her career as an artist, but she was unsure that college was the right track for her.Now, three years later, the Spartan studio art major realizes that saying yes to UNC Greensboro was just the first of a series of opportunities that led to her first public art installation.

Undergraduate students put academics into action by conducting real-world research at UNCG.Whether it’s developing new drugs with natural plants or advancing bilingual education, they seized opportunities this summer to advance their knowledge in the field of their choosing.
