Women’s Basketball Announces 2024-25 Schedule
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's basketball team and Head Coach Trina Patterson have announced their 2024-25 season schedule.
The Spartans concluded the 2023-24 season with a 21-12 overall record and 8-6 in The Southern Conference (SoCon). UNCG earned its seventh appearance to the SoCon Championship in program history, while Coach Patterson notched her third season with 20 or more wins with the Spartans.
In addition, the Blue & Gold finished the 2023-24 season with a 15-1 home record, for its best home record since the 2001-02 season.
"We have outlined a non-conference schedule that will prepare us for success in the SoCon," said Patterson. "We are thrilled for the opportunity to compete not only in Fleming but also various challenging arenas."

- 28 regular season games: 14 home & 14 away.
- All home games will be in Fleming Gym for the 2024-25 season.
- The Spartans will begin the 2024-25 season at home by taking on North Greenville on Monday, November 4.
- The team will continue at home by hosting USC Upstate on Saturday, November 9.
- UNCG will begin its road slate on Wednesday, November 13 with a trip to Conway, South Carolina to face Coastal Carolina.
- The non-conference schedule is highlighted with the 2024 Puerto Rico Classic on Thursday, November 28 to Friday, November 29 with the team facing UT San Antonio and Le Moyne College, respectively in San Juan.
- After its trip to Puerto Rico, UNCG will stay on the road to face three power-five conference schools with North Carolina, Georgia and Wake Forest.
- The squad will conclude the non-conference schedule in Greensboro by hosting Carolina University on Friday, January 3.
- Non-Conference breakdown: Conference Carolinas (1), Big South (2), Sun Belt (2), CIAA (1), MEAC (1), American (1), NEC (1), ACC (2), SEC (1), USA South (1) and Continental Athletic Conference (1).
- The Spartans will face one team in their non-conference schedule that made an appearance in the 2024 NCAA Tournament as the Tar Heels made it to the second round before being eliminated by South Carolina.
- UNCG will begin the SoCon stanza at home with ETSU on Thursday, January 9.
- The regular season will be concluded with a trip to Samford and Mercer on February 27 and March 1, respectively.
- The 2025 SoCon Tournament will be held in Asheville, N.C. from March 6-9 at the Harrah's Cherokee Center.
