Kick off the semester with these steps to success!

Make your SOAR (Spartan Orientation, Advising & Registration) reservations.
Confirm your intent to enroll by midnight on December 12
Attend Your First Year or Transfer Student SOAR
Transfer Students Virtual SOAR - January 8^th
First Year students and Transfer Students In-Person SOAR - January 9^th
Reservations required.
First day of classes - January 12

Log in to the New Student Portal and be sure to use your UNCG username and password.
Your UNCG username and email address are very similar so they are easy to mix up:
Username: smith
Email: smith@uncg.edu
Make your SOAR reservation and select the session you’d like to attend from the available options.
Looking for a hotel? Click for list of hotels offering SOAR rates.
Students will need to confirm their intent to enroll by midnight on December 12 to avoid their SOAR reservation being cancelled.
