FAFSA:
THE KEY TO FINANCIAL AID
File early each year!
UNC Greensboro financial aid – such as loans, grants, and some scholarships – is awarded through the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships to eligible students based on information reported each year in the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
A new FAFSA should be filed each year the student wants to be considered for financial aid. File as early as possible for the best chance for the most aid.
Don't get confused between calendar year and academic year. For example, you can file for your 24-25 school year in 2023.
Students must report UNCG’s Federal School Code (002976) when they file in order for UNCG to consider them for financial aid.
