UNCG Career & Professional Development (CPD) is excited to announce:
Diversity Always Matters, hosted by Wake Forest University. An annual event that aims to connect employers seeking diverse talent with students who identify as diverse. All students are welcome, but the event creates a space for those from diverse races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, and disabilities to learn more about companies that value diversity and network with these potential employers. This year, Bennett College, UNC Greensboro, Wake Forest University, and Winston-Salem State University have partnered to support the success of diverse talent
Join us for an opportunity to network with prospective employers across industries. Over 30 organizations have been hand-selected to participate based on their strong commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion It is a great opportunity not only to learn about their commitments to an inclusive workplace culture but to also hear about internships and full-time employment.

Register as soon as possible as space is limited. We will manage a waitlist as well.
Also, we would like to have students travel with us on a chartered bus, so we all arrive at the same time. This approach will save you money on gas and will also allow you to avoid parking far away from the event location on Wake’s campus.
We encourage you to register by Friday, September 11th, so that we have time to coordinate event details based on the number of UNCG students who participate.
PREREQUISITE: EVENT PREP SESSION (Food will be served) A requirement for attending this event is coming to a brief prep session on Monday, September 9th at 4pm in EUC Kirkland or the Virtual Session on Monday, September 16th at 5pm.
If you do not attend the prep session, you will not be permitted to go to the event. The session information is important and we are confident it will help you to feel well prepared so that you can maximize your experience at the event. If you have any questions about the event, please contact Jasmine Williams, Associate Director for Career Development, at jmwilliams10@uncg.edu
