Men’s Golf to Compete at Bearcat Invitational
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team will begin its 2024-25 road schedule by competing at the Bearcat Invitational from Sept. 16-17 at Coldstream Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio.

THE FORMAT
Both days begin at 9 a.m. with shotgun starts. There will be 36 holes played on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday.

- UNCG opened its 2024-25 season by winning the Bryan National Collegiate on Tuesday, Sept. 10.
- The Spartans carded a 10-under-par (854) over the three-round tournament.
- The team's best score of the tournament came in round one with a nine-under-par (279).
- Hernandez was named The Southern Conference (SoCon) Golfer of the Week after winning his first collegiate event in the Bryan National Collegiate.
- Hernandez recorded rounds of 68-69-71 over the three rounds.
- Boyce followed in behind Hernandez, finishing in a tie for eighth place behind a three-under-par (213).
LAST TIME AT BEARCAT INVITATIONAL
- The Spartans competed at the Bearcat Invitational to start the 2023-24 season.
- UNCG finished sixth at last season's tournament.
- UNCG finished with a five-over-par (857) after three rounds of 282-289-286.
- Alumni Symon Balbin finished on top for the team last season, coming in a tie at ninth place with a two-under-par (211).
