Guidry Leads Men’s Golf at Irish Creek Intercollegiate
KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – Four Spartans from the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team concluded the first round of individual competition in the Irish Creek Intercollegiate on Monday at Irish Creek Golf Course in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – Four Spartans from the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team concluded the first round of individual competition in the Irish Creek Intercollegiate on Monday at Irish Creek Golf Course in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
Due to inclement weather, the Irish Creek Intercollegiate has been shortened to two rounds with the final round taking place on Tuesday.
THE LEADERBOARD
- Will Guidry is leading the Spartans to stand in a tie for 20th place out of the 100-player leaderboard after carding a two-over-par (72) in round one.
- Keenan Royalty is tied for 57th place with a seven-over-par (77).
- Andrew Graham stands tied for 81st place after posting a nine-over-par (79) in round one.
- Liam Percy rounds out the scorecard for the Spartans to be in a tie for 84th place with a 10-over-par (80).
- Layne Lambert of Charleston Southern is in first place on the leaderboard after notching a three-under-par (67) on Monday.
- Morehead State is pacing the 15-teams competing with an even-par (280).
