Nothing helps UNC Greensboro students bounce back from winter than bouncing off the water trampoline at Piney Lake. It’s one of many signs that spring has come to Greensboro.
Piney Lake’s Spring Reopening kicks off at 11 a.m. on March 22. Students and Kaplan Center members can invite up to four guests and enjoy the music at the second annual color run. There, they can get out on the water in kayaks or canoes. If they prefer sticking to the land, they can get their blood moving with a friendly game on the volleyball courts or disc golf course. If they just want to relax, they can bring blankets to soak up the rays. Piney Lake will also open its challenge course for those who really want to push themselves.

Vouchers for food trucks are available for the first 200 students and Kaplan members to arrive (guests are not eligible for vouchers or giveaways). Parking is limited, but Spartan Chariots will bring people from campus’ Library Circle every 30 minutes.
