Malcolm Jones, Elementary Education Major

I knew I wanted to go into education because of the impact my second grade teacher had on me. She made learning exciting, made every student feel special, and created a classroom that felt like home. The way she encouraged me stuck with me for years and I realized I wanted to be that person for someone else.

Maria Rodriguez Campos, Elementary Education Major

Alyssa Causey, Information Science Major

I find that I’m a “people person” in [Information technology], and I want to keep being that. Being able to work with students and be a mentor of sorts, as well as offering a fresh and creative perspective, is incredibly fulfilling. It’s my hope to work in this field for a long while!
