GEO Taking Applications for German Partner Universities Research Collaboration
Each year, the Ministry of Science, Research, and Arts of Baden-Württemberg offers short-term travel grants to support research collaboration between faculty at UNC System and Baden-Württemberg universities. These grants are intended to help establish new collaborations and strengthen existing partnerships.
Amount
1,200 Euro
Duration
The one-time awards are intended to support short research stays of at least one week.
Timeline
Each year, the call for proposals is released in the summer and applications are due on October 15.
Application
The short application consists of the following documents:
- the application form,
- a CV including a list of publications (in English),
- a project description including the reasons for choosing the host/hosting institution and a statement on the importance of the trip for future collaboration (max. 3 pages, in English)
- an invitation letter from the host
