Senior B.J. Boyce carded a career-low round of 64, moving up 50 total positions from round one on Saturday to finish in third place.
TEAM
- UNCG finished the Byran National Collegiate in fifth place behind rounds of 293-294-290 for a 13-over-par (877).
- Wake Forest claimed first-place at the tournament with a 24-under-par (840).
- The Southern Conference (SoCon) foe Wofford earned second-place after shooting a one-over-par (865).
- The Spartans finished second in the field in par threes with a 3.15 average.
- UNCG concluded the tournament fourth in pars (161) and par fours average (4.21).
INDIVIDUAL
- Boyce recorded a four-over-par (76) on Saturday before coming back out on Sunday to notch rounds of 67-64 for a nine-under-par (207) finish in third place.
- Boyce carded one eagle on Sunday, coming on the 11th hole in the third round.
- Kelvin Hernandez followed in behind Boyce to finish in a tie for 15th place with a three-over-par (219) with rounds of 70-75-74.
- Liam Percy earned a tie for 24th place finish with a five-over-par (221).
- Jake Lewis finished tied for 39th place with a 10-over-par (226).
- Cole Isbell and Dax Isbell both finished tied for 51st place with a 13-over-par (229).
- Keenan Royalty rounded out the scorecard for the Spartans with a 14-over-par (230) finish in a tie for 55th place.
