Registration through GivePulse is required to participate! This annual university-wide day of service takes place during Rawkin’ Welcome Weeks in August. It gives UNCG students an opportunity to be introduced to different parts of our community while working with our community partners to make a difference. Participation is free. This week, Spartan Well-Being is hosting a Healthy Hearts Scavenger Hunt! Hearts are hidden across campus in various buildings and locations. If you find a heart, bring it into the Spartan Well-Being office, where you’ll answer a question about healthy behaviors, relationships, or boundaries, and win a prize. There is one special GOLDEN heart hidden on campus – if you find this heart and bring it in, you win the grand prize!  For each red heart you bring in, you'll get a Chick-Fil-A voucher to use here on campus. Whoever brings in the ONE golden heart will win a gift basket with an Owala bottle, a journal, a fleece throw blanket, candy, coffee, snacks, and of course a Chick-Fil-A voucher as well! Challenge yourself to spread wellness across campus. Keep your eyes open, explore campus, and learn more about what healthy relationships and behaviors look like in everyday life. Through an introduction to the Mentor Collective program, students will explore how mentorship can support their personal, academic, and professional growth. The speed friending portion creates an engaging and low-pressure space for students to meet new people, practice social connection, and expand their networks. Overall, the event fosters a sense of belonging by encouraging relationship-building and helping students feel more connected to the UNCG community.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create a personalized beaded keychain something small you can carry with you that represents connection, intention, or just a moment to breathe. As you string each bead and tie each knot, you’ll have space to reflect, reset, and reconnect with yourself and those around you. This is a relaxed, judgment-free space to meet other students, share some conversation, and take a mindful break from your day. Come solo or bring a friend no experience needed, and all materials are provided.
