Men’s Golf Begins 2025-26 Season Hosting Bryan National Collegiate
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team will begin its 2025-26 season by hosting the Bryan National Collegiate from Sept. 6-7 at Bryan Park in Browns Summit, North Carolina.

THE FORMAT
The 14 teams will compete in three total rounds with two on Saturday and one on Sunday. Both days will be an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.

SPARTANS LAST SEASON
- UNCG finished in second place in The 2025 Southern Conference (SoCon) Championships with an overall score of 18-under-par (846) behind rounds of 277-285-284.
- The Spartans carded four first-place finishes last season. UNCG finished first at the Bryan National Collegiate on Sept. 10, 2024, the Elon Invitational on Oct. 15, 2024, the Dorado Beach Collegiate on Feb. 25, 2025 and the Sea Palms Invitational on March 15, 2025.
- This was the first time in UNCG men's golf program history the team has collected four regular season tournament wins.
- Alum Colin Dutton finished in a tie for 49th place at the NCAA Amherst Regional after earning the top spot at The 2025 SoCon Championships.
- Current sophomore Jake Lewis was named the SoCon Freshman of the Year and to the All-Freshman Team for the 2024-25 season.
- The squad earned five SoCon Golfer of the Week recognitions last season, marking the most in a single season in UNCG men's golf history.
LAST TIME HOSTING BRYAN NATIONAL COLLEGIATE
- The Spartans claimed first-place at last year's Bryan National Collegiate for the second consecutive year.
- UNCG carded a 10-under-par (854) over the three-round tournament last season.
- Junior Kelvin Hernandez notched his first collegiate win at the three-day tournament behind an eight-under-par (208).
- Senior B.J. Boyce followed in behind Hernandez, finishing in a tie for eighth place with a three-under-par (213).
