Men’s Golf Opens First Road Tournament with Bearcat Invitational
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team will travel for the first time this season to Cincinnati, Ohio, for the Bearcat Invitational, hosted by Cincinnati, from Sept. 15-16 at Coldstream Country Club.

THE FORMAT
The two-day event will feature two rounds on Monday and one round on Tuesday. Both days are a 9:00 a.m. start, with Tuesday's final round being paired by score.

- The Spartans were fourth in pars (161) and par fours average (4.21).
- Boyce carded a career-low round of 64, moving up 50 total positions from round one on Saturday, Sept. 6, finishing in third place at the tournament.
- Hernandez followed in behind Boyce to finish in a tie for 15th place with a three-over-par (219) with rounds of 70-75-74.
LAST TIME AT BEARCAT INVITATIONAL
- The Spartans finished in a tie for 13th place at last season's Bearcat Invitational.
- UNCG carded a 21-over-par (873) with rounds of 290-290-283 over the two-day event.
- The Spartans finished in a tie with Memphis and ahead of Chattanooga, Illinois State, UCF and Southern Mississippi, respectively.
- Alum Jack Marcotte finished on top for the Spartans in a tie for 17th place with rounds of 73-71-71 for a two-over-par (215).
- Hernandez followed close behind Marcotte to finish in a tie for 24th place after notching a three-over-par (216). His best score came in round one with an even par (71).
