Hudson Concludes PGA Tour Debut

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf alum, Randall Hudson concluded his PGA Tour debut on Friday after finishing in a tie for XXX place in the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic at Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf alum, Randall Hudson concluded his PGA Tour debut on Friday after finishing in a tie for 124th  place in the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic at Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Former teammate and UNCG alum, Nick Lyerly supported Hudson throughout his PGA Tour debut as his caddie. 

Hudson recorded a two-over-par (73) in the opening round on Thursday before posting a four-over-par (75) on Friday to finish in a tie for 124th place.

He began the first round with a two-over-par (37) on the front nine before posting an even par (36) on the back nine for the two-over-par (73) score on Thursday.

In his second and final round on Friday, Hudson started off with the back nine, shooting a one-under-par (35). He concluded the round by notching a five-over-par (40) on the front nine for a four-over-par (75) in the second round.

Hudson's second round concluded his PGA Tour debut, as only the top-60 participants move on to the third and fourth rounds on Saturday and Sunday.

The New Bern, North Carolina, native carded a four-under-par (67) to finish tied for second place in the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic Pre-Qualifier No. 2 on Thursday, May 1 at Wachesaw Plantation Club in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, earning his first appearance in the PGA Tour.
