Men’s Tennis Concludes Spartan Fall Invitational
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's tennis team concluded the Spartan Fall Invitational on Sunday at UNCG Tennis Courts in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Across the three-day event on Friday, Saturday and Sunday Devon Moskowitz and Tymofiy Khrystyuk won three out of their four doubles matches. As a team, the Spartans won 20 singles matches over the three days.
FIRST DAY (Friday, Sept. 19)
Doubles
John Gabelic and Devon Moskowitz defeated Marcus Bergelin and Cameron Simpson (Belmont Abbey) 6-4.
Tymofiy Khrystyuk and Hector Nissen defeated Brody Sawyer and Jack McGregor (Belmont Abbey) 6-0.
Andrew Black and Samuel Presser lost to Boden Willis and Lianni Russo (Belmont Abbey) 6-3.
Alan Trbonja and Eric Lindemann defeated Lorenzo Romero and William Wallace (Belmont Abbey) 6-1.
Presser and Lindermann defeated Jermey Nash and Mark Moreno (Emery) 7-5.
Black and Trbonja lost to Victor Sandru and Daniel Kim (Emery) 6-4.
Gabelic and Nissen lost to Caleb Zimmerman and Walter Johnstone (Emery) 7-5.
Moskowitz and Khrystyuk lost to Alex Kartik and Dean Kamenev (Emery) 6-3.
