Mackin Named Chair of NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Oversight CommitteeGREENSBORO, N.C. – Brian Mackin, Director of Athletics at UNC Greensboro (UNCG), has been named Chair of the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Oversight Committee for the 2025-26 academic year.
Volleyball to Begin Second Half of Conference PlayGREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) volleyball team will begin the second of The Southern Conference (SoCon) slate at Samford on Friday at Pete Hanna Center and Furman on Saturday in Alley Gymnasium. Friday's match against the Bulldogs will begin at 6:30 p.m. CST/7:30 p.m. EST, while the match against Furman on Saturday is set for a 7:00 p.m. EST first serve.
- Men’s Tennis Travels to SoCon Masters Qualifier & UTC Steve Baras InviteGREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's tennis team will compete in the The Southern Conference (SoCon) Masters Qualifier and the UTC Steve Baras Invite, both hosted by Chattanooga from Friday to Sunday. The SoCon Masters Qualifier serves as one of the premier fall events on the league calendar, featuring top talent from across the conference. Play is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. every day starting on Friday.

- Men’s Soccer Takes Draw Against No. 3 NC State On the RoadRALEIGH, N.C. – The No. 18 UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer team took a 1-1 draw against No. 3 North Carolina State (NC State) at Dail Soccer Stadium in Raleigh, North Carolina on Tuesday.

- Women’s Golf Wins UNCG CollegiateGREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's golf team concluded the UNCG Collegiate on Tuesday, winning the tournament with round scores of 298-293-294 (885). This is the Spartans' first win since the Puerto Rico Shootout on March 4, 2025.

- Fritz Earns SoCon Defensive Player of the WeekSPARTANBURG, S.C.- Senior defender Kimito Fritz of the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer team has been named The Southern Conference (SoCon) Denfensive Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday. This is the Spartans third defensive player of the week of winner and sixth total this season. He scored one goal while playing two complete games against No. 8 ranked Virginia and Wofford in the eighth week of the 2025 season.

- Men’s Basketball to Face Furman on ESPN2SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's basketball team will be featured in one of nine The Southern Conference (SoCon) games to be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network, ESPN2 or ESPNU this season. The 10th game is set for a wildcard matchup on Saturday, Feb. 14, that ESPN will choose and be announced by the SoCon Office on Jan. 30.

- Women’s Golf in Second Place at the UNCG CollegiateGREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's golf team wrapped up day one of its home event, the UNCG Collegiate, on Monday, sitting in second place through the first two rounds at Forest Oaks Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina.
