Buffalo Creek spans much of the Greensboro Metropolitan area and primarily functions as a means for channeling storm water throughout the city. Unfortunately, storm water brings unsightly and potentially dangerous debris into the creek. Outdoor Adventures is proud to take on the task of “adopting” this stream and greatly appreciates you joining us to make a difference in our community as well as communities located down-stream of Guilford County!
Trip Cost: FREE Transportation is provided! Registration can be done in person at Outdoor Adventures or ONLINE for this trip! Learn more at http://uncg.presence.io/event/outdoor-adventures-adopt-a-stream-102 - Nov 73:00 PMHealthy Relationships WorkshopSpartan Connect Events | EUC Willow

This is a high adventure trip that spans the full weekend. We will be exploring a wild Cave in Tennessee and hiking along the Appalachian Trail on the boarder of North Carolina and Tennessee. After hiking to the entrance of the cave we will journey through the darkness with our headlamps and climb, crawl, and slide through wet mud and experience total darkness! Caves in this region are generally a consistent 45°F, which makes caving a great year-round activity, but it can get cold after a while, so we will keep moving to stay warm! We will be camping at a nearby campground which will give us time to relax between adventures! This is a jam-packed weekend, so be ready to create loads of new memories!
Trip Cost: $85 Cost Includes: transportation, equipment, instruction, and meals excluding those on the road.
You must register in Outdoor Adventures at the Kaplan Center by Wednesday, November 5th Learn more at http://uncg.presence.io/event/outdoor-adventures-cave-and-hike-2
