Description

Transgender Day of Remembrance is an annual observance to honor the memory of transgender who have been lost. Join the Office of Intercultural engagement for a candlelight vigil to remember those no longer with us and celebrate our transgender friends and family.

In the case of rain, the event will be moved into the Office of Intercultural Engagement.

Outdoor Adventures Caving

This classic Outdoor Adventures trip is the perfect way to spend your Saturday. We will journey to a natural and wild cave in Virginia where we get a chance to slip and slide through mud, squeeze through tight passages, and experience total darkness. Lunch will be made underground and by the time we head out for daylight, you’ll wish you could stay down longer. Caves in this region are generally a consistent 45°F, which makes caving a great year-round activity, but it can get cold after a while, so we will keep moving to stay warm! We’ll include caving instruction along the way and by the end of this trip, you’ll never forget which one is a stalagmite or a stalactite.
