Catalyst is a program where participants engage in meaningful service and be a spark for change! You and your fellow students will have the opportunity to learn about the social and environmental issues that have an impact on our community, serve alongside community partners in the triad, and reflect on your experiences as a group. During this Catalyst, we’ll complete a service opportunity in support of children & families. Catalyst Days are open to all UNCG students. We have space for 13 participants, and registration is open until spots are filled. Once you complete the registration, your Catalyst Leaders will be in contact you with information about next steps. Spartan Connect Events | The First Horizon Coliseum/ Greensboro Coliseum
The Greensboro Gargoyles will face the Wheeling Nailers at First Horizon Coliseum on Saturday, November 8th at 7 PM. The ATEA has partnered with the Greensboro Gargoyles to promote this event. Come out to this exciting local event to enjoy some ice hockey and support our UNCG MSAT club!

Spartan Connect Events | EUC Cone Ballroom
The Muslim Student Association banquet is a formal, end-of-year gathering that brings together students, faculty, and community members to celebrate the achievements and growth of the MSA throughout the academic year. The evening typically begins with a warm welcome and an opening du‘a (prayer), followed by a shared meal that reflects diverse cultural traditions within the Muslim community. The program often features guest speakers, student reflections, and presentations that highlight the MSA’s initiatives, such as community service projects, interfaith dialogues, and educational events. Awards or recognitions may be given to graduating seniors or outstanding members who have contributed to the MSA’s mission. The banquet provides not only a time for celebration and gratitude but also a chance to strengthen bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood, inspire future leadership, and share Islamic values with the wider campus community in an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere.
