Curious about how to track your impact and connect your experiences to your growth as a student leader?  Join the Office of Leadership and Civic Engagement (OLCE) for Empower Hour, where we’ll walk you through the resources and tools you need to:  Discover meaningful service opportunities on and off campus  Learn how to log and track your service hours to showcase your impact  Reflect on where professional development can show up in your own life and how service can strengthen your skills  Whether you’re just beginning your service journey or looking to deepen your involvement, this session will give you the knowledge and confidence to accomplish your goals this semester. Spartan Connect Events | Smith Campus Ministries Center
This is your chance to step away from the internet and go outside. In this workshop we will explore ways to enhance our wellbeing through connection with the natural world. The workshop runs for three consecutive Wednesdays, September 10th, 17th, and 24th from 3pm to 4:30pm at the back courtyard of the Smith Campus Ministry Building (500 Stirling St). Activities will include planting edible plants, creating nature-based art, and practicing mindfulness. Please join us and touch grass.
