Calling all First Year students! Take this opportunity to connect with other first year students and spend your weekend camping, rafting, and hiking! We will journey to Western North Carolina and spend day one hiking on beautiful trails before making our way to camp for the night. We'll have a delicious dinner as we continue to connect with our new friends before the night ends. On Sunday morning we'll wake up, pack up camp, and head to the rafting outpost for a full day rafting trip on the French Broad River! Trip Cost: $45.00 Cost Includes: Transportation, equipment, instruction, Rafting fees, meals! Must register in Outdoor Adventures at the Kaplan Center by Tuesday September 2nd to secure your spot. Spartan Connect Events | Pilot Mountain, NC
This Outdoor Adventures' classic brings us to Pilot Mountain for a day of rock climbing and testing our limits. We will climb a few different routes, moving around the climbing area throughout the day, with a break for lunch alongside the face of the mountain. No outdoor climbing experience is necessary, we will teach you all that you need to know!
