Every Friday, Spartan Recovery @ UNCG has speakers from the community who are in recovery tell their stories of experience, strength, and hope.  Students are given the opportunity to respond to the speakers. Lunch Served at 12:30 pm Spartan Recovery Program nurtures social, academic, and professional success for people seeking or living in recovery by providing a welcoming and fun environment, individual and community support, and opportunities for growth.

Spartan Connect Events | Greensboro
Do you love dogs? You can spend your Friday afternoon with us as we venture out to Piney Lake for a nice hike while spending time with some great pups from the local SPCA shelter. Come out and enjoy the fresh air, spend time exploring the natural world around you, and provide a great opportunity for some of the dogs at the shelter. There will be plenty of time for everyone to relax, including the dogs! This trip is perfect for anyone who appreciates the outdoors, self-care, and of course: dogs! Trip Cost: $5.00 Cost Includes: Transportation, equipment, snacks!

Spartan Connect Events | Fountain, Quad Lawn & Rec Field
🎉 PHIN Field Day is a community wellness event and fundraiser. This is a high-energy outdoor event that brings students together for fun, movement, and impact. From kickball tournaments to free-play stations, music, and giveaways, this event promotes physical health, social connection, and service. All proceeds will be donated to a selected cause, allowing participants to give back while getting active. Whether you’re competing, volunteering, or just vibing, PHIN Field Day is where purpose meets play. This is a two part event that will take place in two locations. The first part will occur from 6:00-10:00 pm on the Quad Lawn where we will be offering food vendors, lawn games, and a DJ booth. Simultaneously, we will be having a Kickball tournament from 7:30-10:00 pm on the Recreation Field!
