Spartan Leadership Challenge: Bronze Experience Start your leadership journey here. The Bronze Experience is your gateway to discovering who you are as a leader and how you can make a difference. As the foundational level of the Spartan Leadership Challenge, Bronze is built on the Social Change Model and empowers you to explore your personal values, develop your leadership identity, and begin leading with purpose. Through five interactive workshops, hands-on service in the community, and participation in professional development opportunities, you’ll engage in meaningful reflection and build the skills that prepare you for future leadership on campus, in your career, and in your community. By completing Bronze, you’re not only advancing your leadership potential—you’re also completing the foundational level of the Spartan Experience, aligning your growth with UNCG’s leadership and civic engagement competencies. Bronze Experience Learning Outcomes Students will identify their core personal values and reflect on how those values inform ethical decision-making and leadership practice.

Many of us live each day being pulled around by our emotions or ignoring our emotions to feel in control of them. We don't quite understand our feelings until we're reacting to them and often our reactions cause bigger problems. This group teaches us skills to regulate our emotions and survive the upsetting events that come up in our daily lives. Once we have more awareness of our internal experience, we'll learn techniques to communicate our feelings and needs to others. By the end of this group, you'll have a better understanding of your emotional experiences and more control over how you respond. The Bend Don't Break group will run on Mondays 3:30pm-4:45pm starting September 8th at Counseling and Psychological Services. If you are interested in joining or have questions, please email Vanessa Fox at Counseling and Psychological Services, vafox2@uncg.edu Learn more at http://uncg.presence.io/event/bend-dont-break-counseling-group-2 - Sep 155:00 PMSGA Special Elections Interest MeetingSpartan Connect Events | EUC Claxton
