Spend your Saturday with us at UNCG's hidden gem- Piney Lake! Kick off the year at Piney Palooza! Students will get food truck vouchers and free giveaways! The lake will be open for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and more! The traditional slip and slide will be across the lawn and there will be no shortage of good vibes! Shuttles will run every 30 minutes from campus to Piney Lake, all you need is your Spartan ID to have a great day at the lake.

Spartan Connect Events | The Quad Lawn
Bring a blanket, grab a friend, and enjoy a movie under the stars with theCollective. We’re setting up an inflatable big screen on the Quad for a chill night of film, snacks, and making friends. Whether you’re new to campus or just looking for a relaxed way to hang out, this is a great place to slow down and meet some great people. The movie will be chosen over a poll beginning Monday, August 18th. There will also be free movie snacks provided!

Love reading? Want a break from the hustle and bustle of the first weeks of the semester? Join us for Silent Book Club! We'll provide space, snacks, and books you can borrow (or feel free to bring your own). Read and relax with us! 7-on-7 Flag Football
Spartan Connect Events | Recreation Field located beside the UNCG Baseball Stadium.
A non-contact, passing-focused version of football where two teams of seven players compete. It emphasizes passing and route running, with limited or no running plays allowed. The game is played on a smaller field compared to traditional football, and the focus is on skill development for quarterbacks, receivers, and defensive backs.

Teams will play twice a week. Available Divisions are: Monday/Wednesday - Late (Games at 7:00, 8:00, 9:00pm) Tuesday/Thursday - Late (Games at 7:00, 8:00, 9:00pm) Regular Season: August 25th - October 6th
