In addition to a description of what these "potholes" are, students will also be given the information they need to avoid needing quick fixes in the first place, as well as strategies for solving problems without these quick fixes, should they find themselves in a bind. Join Spartan Well-Being for this workshop. When considering health, we often think only in terms of physical and mental health; however true wellness is much broader. A holistic approach to wellness supports the whole person and encompasses eight dimensions. Each dimension contributes to optimal health and well-being, including physical, emotional, social, intellectual, career, cultural, environmental, and financial wellness. This presentation will explore the eight dimensions of wellness, provide an opportunity for you to examine your relationship with each dimension, and discover new ways to support your health and wellness. After participating in this workshop, students will be able to:

Consider and explore their personal health and well-being.
Understand the connection among the 8 dimensions of wellness.
Identify resources and ways to enhance their relationship with each dimension.
