Interfaith Gathering for Peace & Justice

A gathering and panel discussion about how we can find common ground to protect the most vulnerable in our communities and serve those in need. Join us in the EUC Auditorium's Prefunction space at 6pm for hors d'oeuvres, conversation, and information, then in the Auditorium at 7pm for a panel discussion. Panelists are Rev. Dawn Hand, Director of Equity and Justice, Western NC Conference of The United Methodist Church; Rev. Dr. Mark Sandlin, ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA) serving at Presbyterian Church of the Covenant in Greensboro; Sister Rose Marie Tresp, RSM, Regional Organizer/Educator at Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, South Central Community; and Rabbi James (Ya'aqov) Walker, who bridges the Charlotte Jewish and African American communities in his professional and spiritual roles.
