Spartan Connect Events | EUC Pre-Function Room


The annual Empty Bowls Sale is Wednesday, October 1 from 10am-2pm in the EUC Auditorium Pre-function room! This annual sale raises funds for Spartan Open Pantry and features a variety of colorful bowls hand-painted by UNCG student volunteers this past spring. Bowls are priced at $5, $10, and $15. Use these bowls as candy dishes, catch-all bowls, holiday or birthday gifts for your favorite Spartans, or supply organizers on your desk. SOP staff will be on hand to take payment in cash or by card. The Spartan Open Pantry distributed over 60,000 lbs. of food last year to students, staff, and community members in need. Their website states, "from students who need a little help at the end of the month to homeless students and families who depend on the pantry for complete support, the SOP assists our neighbors who need a hand." Guilford County Department of Public Health and Spartan Well-Being will be offering free HIV and STD testing. After testing, students have the opportunity to visit our various health related consultation tables to learn more about the various factors that impact your sexual health.
