Every October, our Spartan Family gathers for an evening of connection, remembrance, and resilience. Join us for our 2026 Relationship Violence Awareness Month Survivor Vigil as we honor the lives and legacies of relationship violence victims/survivors. We stand together. Our annual Survivor Vigil will include student speakers as well as speakers from campus offices and community agencies. Additionally, resource tables and a decompression tent will be available on the lawn as we gather together. UNCG DOC will be hosting Local Lemon to raise money/raise awareness of UNCG DOC. Local Lemon will be donating 15-20% of sales to UNCG DOC and we will in return be donating it to a local free dental clinic in an effort to pay for an individual's cleaning, filling or extraction. We will also have a sign that individuals can scan to learn more about UNCG DOC.

Spartan Connect Events | Pilot Mountain, NC
This Outdoor Adventures' classic brings us to Pilot Mountain for a day of rock climbing and testing our limits. We will climb a few different routes, moving around the climbing area throughout the day, with a break for lunch alongside the face of the mountain. No outdoor climbing experience is necessary, we will teach you all that you need to know!

Community Build Days are right around the corner, and we’re partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro to support future homeowners through hands‑on construction experience. Each shift will have an IARC Connect team member on site to help with check‑ins, questions, and anything you may need throughout the day. This rehearsal is being held in preparation for Bangladesh Night, organized by the Bangladesh Student Association at UNCG. Participants will practice cultural performances, music, dance, stage transitions, and the overall program sequence. The rehearsal will also allow the organizing team to test the venue setup, sound, timing, and coordination before the main event on November 1, 2026.

Spartan Connect Events | UNCG Soccer Stadium
UNCG Men’s Soccer is set to host East Tennessee State University on Saturday October 31st in the UNCG Soccer Stadium at 6pm. Admission is FREE and Parking is FREE 1 hour prior to gametime in the Walker Parking Deck. First 100 UNCG Students receive a FREE Glow in the Dark Shirt, and a Food Truck will be in attendance!
