Afro-oke is an African-inspired karaoke-style event created to bring students from different schools together through music. The event gives people a fun and welcoming space to enjoy African and Afro-diasporic songs, sing along, dance, and connect with others. Afro-oke is not about singing perfectly, but about celebrating culture, community, and shared joy. By using music as a common language, the event helps students from different backgrounds come together, socialize, and build connections in a relaxed and positive environment.

This presentation will explore the eight dimensions of wellness, provide an opportunity for you to examine your relationship with each dimension, and discover new ways to support your health and wellness. After participating in this workshop, students will be able to:
Consider and explore their personal health and well-being.
Understand the connection among the 8 dimensions of wellness.
