UNCG DOC will be hosting Local Lemon to raise money/raise awareness of UNCG DOC. Local Lemon will be donating 15-20% of sales to UNCG DOC and we will in return be donating it to a local free dental clinic in an effort to pay for an individual's cleaning, filling or extraction. We will also have a sign that individuals can scan to learn more about UNCG DOC.

This event is designed to give new UNCG students an opportunity to learn more about different clubs and organizations within the School of Health and Human Sciences as well as other ways to get involved on campus, specifically for students interested in health science or human service fields. This is a great opportunity for students to become more familiar with the resources and organizations available to them. It will also help students find ways to get involved that align with their interests, goals, and career aspirations.  We will do an icebreaker then the members of each club will present information about their organization and answer questions. It will end in conversation and refreshments. Empty Bowls is an educational program that takes a stand against local food insecurity and hunger. Students, staff, and faculty are invited to purchase a bowl while learning more about UNCG food insecurity and the resources UNCG provides! These bowls are then sold in the fall semester to raise money for Spartan Open Pantry, a food pantry for UNCG students, faculty, and staff. There will be an opportunity in the spring semester for you to design and paint your own bowl! This program raised over $1,000 in 2024!

Nationwide, sextortion is one of (if not THE) fastest growing types of digital harm- it can be scary, isolating, and hard to identify.
