LAST TIME OUT FOR THE SPARTANS

• The Spartans most recently captured a fourth-place finish at the Johnnie-O at Sea Island at Seaside Golf Course on Tuesday, March 18.
• UNCG carded rounds of 285-277 to earn a final score of two-over-par (562).
• UNCG bested seven teams that were ranked in the top-100 nationally at the tournament in Kansas (50), Michigan State (56), Princeton (72), Nebraska (85), Memphis (90), West Virginia (94) and Georgia Southern (96).
• Jack Marcotte and Jake Lewis finished on top for the Spartans behind an even-par score (140) to conclude the tournament tied for 10^th place.
• Marcotte and Lewis both notched rounds of 72-68 in the tournament.
• Marcotte led all 80 players in the field with 30 total pars over the two rounds.

SCOUTING THE SPARTANS

• The Spartans have carded four first-place finishes this season. UNCG finished first at the Sea Palms Invitational on March 15, 2025, the Dorado Beach Collegiate on Feb. 25, 2025, the Elon Invitational on Oct. 15, 2024, and the Bryan National Collegiate on Sept. 10, 2024.
• The last time UNCG collected four tournament wins in a single season was in 2018-19 when the team earned The Southern Conference (SoCon) Championship Title.
• This is the first time in UNCG men's golf program history the team has collected four regular season tournament wins.
• Marcotte is third in the SoCon with a 70.96 stroke average.
• Kelvin Hernandez is fourth with a 71.22 average.
• Hernandez notched his first collegiate win at the Bryan National Collegiate on Sept. 10 behind an eight-under-par (208).
• Four Spartans have earned SoCon Golfer of the Week recognitions this season. Lewis (March 19, 2025), Marcotte & Colin Dutton (Feb. 26, 2024) and Hernandez (Sept. 11, 2024).  
• UNCG is currently ranked 90^th nationally through eight events with a 285.9 scoring average.

Individual Spartans will take on the Irish Creek Intercollegiate, hosted by Appalachian State on April 7-8 at Irish Creek Golf Course in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
